CPI: Fire safety concept

Our fire safety specialists will create fire protection concepts for you in the context of new construction or conversion/rehabilitation. The upgrading of buildings, but also of industrial sites, is necessary in order to comply with normative and legal developments, in particular the AEAI standards.

If your building is classified as a quality assurance level 2 or higher (AqPi), the fire protection authority may require a fire safety concept for the building site.

The fire safety concept for the construction site must be submitted to the AIB or to the municipal fire authority before work begins. The competent body may take a position on the concept.

The concept applies to the entire duration of the construction work, from the structural work to the development carried out by the tenants. It should be updated as the work progresses and adapted to the risks and status of the work.
